Announcement Regarding Eid Al Adha Holiday For The Saudi Exchange

The Saudi Exchange is pleased to announce that Eid Al Adha Holiday will commence on Thursday 15 July 2021. Accordingly, trading will be as follows:
-    Trading will discontinue at the end of trading day of Thursday 15 July 2021
-    Trading will resume after the holiday on Sunday 25 July 2021

Exchange Council Supports EEX's Commitment To Provide Sustainable Markets - Bernhard Walter Elected As New Chairman

On Wednesday 23 June, the newly elected EEX Exchange Council held its constitutive meeting during which the Exchange Council members elected Dr. Bernhard Walter, Head of Market Design and Regulatory Affairs at EnBW AG as new Chairman. In addition, Pierre Chevalier, Head Energy Price Risk Management at DB Energie GmbH, Jens Göbel, Director Power, Gas and Emissions Trading at CEPSA GAS Y ELECTRICIDAD S.A., and Stefan Sewckow, Managing Director at MVV Trading GmbH have been elected by the members as Vice-Chairmen. The Exchange Council members expressed their gratitute to Dr. Michael Redanz who did not stand for another mandate as Chairman after two terms.

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has successfully launched new Financial Gas Futures contracts which are cash-settled against the European Gas Spot Index (EGSI). Since launching on Monday 28 June, when EEX registered a volume of 41 GWh,  the new Financial Gas Futures have seen strong interest across the European markets, attracting players from the traditional Gas trading community and financial companies.

Deutsche Börse further expands its FX data offering by providing real-time FX pricing data from 360T through its CEF data feed. The offering includes data from 360T’s and DIGITEC’s award-winning Swaps Data Feed (SDF), as well as streaming FX spot pricing data sourced from 360T’s Essential Data Feed (EDF). Deutsche Börse acts as licensor for the data.
