    • Volatility (as measured by the average daily movement in the All Ordinaries Index) was 0.5% in June (compared to 1.3% in the pcp). 
    • Expected future volatility (as measured by the S&P/ASX 200 VIX) in June was an average of 12.1 (compared to 22.2 in the pcp).

    Caixa Econômica Federal (“CAIXA”) and Fiserv, Inc (NASDAQ: FISV), a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology, today completed the first payment transaction for a merchant as part of the companies’ recently signed merchant acquiring services agreement. The transaction was completed via the Caixa-branded point-of-sale terminal, “Maquininha CAIXA Pagamentos.”

  • ISDA Submits Letter On Amendments To IFRS Foundation Constitution

    On July 5, ISDA submitted a letter to the IFRS Foundation in response to its proposed targeted amendments to the IFRS Foundation Constitution to accommodate an International Sustainability Standards Board to set IFRS sustainability standards. ISDA recognizes that financial reporting alone does not provide investors and other stakeholders with a full enough picture of enterprise value and it is desirable to have consolidation of existing frameworks, methodologies and metrics for sustainability reporting. ISDA considers the proposal and the establishment of parallel workstreams to be key steps towards ensuring the IFRS Foundation can play an instrumental role in developing globally accepted sustainability reporting standards, leveraging its existing structures, due process and significant experience as a global standard-setter.

  • EBA Publishes Final Draft Technical Standards To Improve Supervisory Cooperation For Investment Firms

    The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today final draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) and Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on cooperation and information exchange between competent authorities involved in prudential supervision of investment firms. These draft standards, developed in consultation with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), provide a solid framework for (i) cooperation in the supervision of investment firm groups through colleges of supervisors and (ii) for information exchange for investment firms operating within the EU through branches or the free provision of services. These draft standards are part of the phase 2 mandates of the EBA roadmap on investment firms, and aim at improving cooperation and information exchanges between the supervisors of investment firms.
