  • EEX Publishes 2021 Sell-Off Calendar For National Emissions Trading System

    The European Energy Exchange (EEX) today published the prospective 2021 schedule for sell-offs for the national Emissions Trading System (“nEHS”) in coordination with the German Federal Environment Agency. With the introduction of the nEHS at the beginning of 2021 a CO2 price for the heat and transport sectors is set at a national level for the first time.

The Financials sector contributed 95,22% to the total value traded which was the highest among all other sectors. Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of “Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd” and also on shares of “Vassilico Cement Works Public Company Ltd” with 93,71% and 3,04% of the total value respectively.
