  • EU Brings Historic EUR 12 Bn Green Bond To LuxSE

    In the presence of EU Commissioner in charge of Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn and Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel, the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) marked the listing of the European Commission’s inaugural green bond on Tuesday. The EUR 12 billion bond is the world’s largest green bond issued to date. The green bond is governed by Luxembourg law and displayed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX), the award-winning platform for sustainable securities.

  • Moscow Exchange: Preliminary Parameters For Start Of Trading In Global Depository Receipts On Softline Holding Limited Ordinary Shares

    Moscow Exchange announces preliminary trading parameters of its Central Order Book T+ (TQBR) to be applied to global depository receipts (GDRs) representing ordinary shares of Softline Holding Limited (ISIN – US83407L2079) in case the decision to start trading of the security is made. From 8 October 2021, the Drs are included in the Moscow Exchange Level 1 List (https://www.moex.com/n36801).

    Item 1: Objectives and proposed format of Technology Forum meetings

    Tom Mutton (Chair) welcomed the Members and attendees to the first CBDC Technology Forum meeting. He explained the objectives of the Forum. The Technology Forum would not have any decision-making responsibilities nor any formal advisory or consultative function. However, it would have an important role in helping the Bank to understand the views of expert stakeholders on the technological challenges of designing, implementing and operating a CBDC. To this end, the Bank encouraged Members to suggest topics for future agendas and to lead certain discussions – this would be explained further under Item 3.
