Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission Bans Tang Shiyi For 10 months

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has banned Ms Tang Shiyi, a former licensed representative of China Galaxy International Securities (Hong Kong) Co., Limited and China Galaxy International Futures (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (collectively, CGI), from re-entering the industry for 10 months from 29 October 2022 to 28 August 2023.

Stable Growth In Performance And Sustained Recovery In Consumption: Companies On Shanghai Stock Exchange Main Board Disclose 2022 Third Quarter Reports

As of October 31, 2022, 1,669 listed companies on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) had completed the disclosure of their 2022 third quarter reports. In general, thanks to the strong support of the Party Central Committee and the State Council's package of measures to stabilize the economy, companies on SSE main board achieved stable growth in the first three quarters. Consumption and other industries that had suffered setbacks showed positive momentums of marginal repair. The foundations for recovery and development in all industries continued to solidify.

Bursa Malaysia Announces Rm177.6 Million Profit After Tax And Zakat For The Nine Months Ended 30 September 2022

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) recorded a Profit After Tax and Zakat (“PAT”) of RM177.6 million for the nine-month financial period ended 30 September 2022 (“9M2022”), a 38.8% decrease from RM290.3 million reported in the previous corresponding period ended 30 September 2021 (“9M2021”). The decrease in PAT is due to lower operating revenue by 24.6% to RM445.2 million from RM590.0 million in 9M2021, primarily caused by a decline in securities trading revenue. Meanwhile, total operating expenses saw a 0.7% marginal increase to RM214.7 million in 9M2022, compared to RM213.2 million in 9M2021.
