Fiserv, Inc. (NYSE: FI), a leading global provider of payments and financial technology solutions, announced today that eligible debit and credit cardholders can now redeem their uChoose Rewards® points for purchases on Amazon.com and the Amazon mobile app. Through this partnership, cardholders at financial institutions that are part of the uChoose Rewards program and enrolled in the Amazon Shop with Points program can now seamlessly redeem rewards points for all or part of their qualifying purchases at checkout. More than 200 financial institutions are already enrolled and by end of year cardholders at hundreds more financial institutions will be able to redeem their rewards on Amazon.com and the Amazon mobile app. -
ESMA And The EBA Assess The Implementation Of The Revised Shareholder Rights Directive And Identify Areas For Progress

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s financial markets regulator and supervisor, jointly with the European Banking Authority (EBA), today published a Report assessing the implementation of the Shareholder Rights Directive 2 (SRD2). This assessment, carried out in response to a European Commission’s request, identifies areas for further progress and provides detailed suggestions for policy action in relation to the Directive’s effectiveness, difficulties in practical application and the appropriateness of the scope of application.

The Monitoring Group (MG) is responsible for the overall governance of the international audit, assurance, ethics and independence standard-setting system, including conducting periodic effectiveness reviews. In July 2020, the MG issued its recommendations Strengthening the International Audit and Ethics Standard-Setting System (MG Recommendations). The objectives of the MG Recommendations are the implementation of an independent and inclusive multi-stakeholder standard-setting system that is responsive to the public interest in the development of timely, high-quality audit, assurance, ethics, and independence standards that respond to an accelerated pace of change. The MG, supported by strong stakeholder engagement, has made significant progress in implementing its Recommendations to strengthen the standard-setting system.

The BME's fixed income market, MARF, has admitted to trading a new Commercial Paper Programme of A&G Banco, for an outstanding balance of €200 million. With this new securities issuance instrument, A&G Banco will be able to flexibly access the fixed income markets over the next year to issue promissory notes with a maximum maturity of up to 24 months.
