CIBC WI Holdings emerged as the volume leader with 125,225 shares, followed by Barbados Shipping & Trading with 21,489 shares. One security advanced, three traded firm and one declined. The Oslo Stock Exchange Board Has Resolved To Impose A Violation Charge On Alcatel STK.

The Stock Exchange Board has resolved to impose a violation charge on Alcatel STK of three times the annual listing fee for a breach by the company of ยง 5-2 (first paragraph) of the Stock Exchange Regulations. News that the company had received a "Letter of Acceptance" in respect of a large underwater cable contract was published in the company's internal newsletter on 1 October 1999. Central Bank Of Iceland Weekly Repo Auction 18. Jan

The Central Bank of Iceland held a weekly auction for repurchase agreements on January 18th of the standard maturity of 14 days. The auction was a fixed rate auction at 9.8% p.a. Offers were made for a total amount of ISK 17.6 billion resulting in repurchase contracts for that amount.

Admission To Listing On Oslo Stock Exchange

The Primary Capital Certificates of Helgeland Sparebank may be admitted to listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange. This decision is conditional on the production of a satisfactory listing prospectus. The first day for listing is to be determined by the President of the Oslo Stock Exchange, but with the proviso that this must be no later than 14 February 2000.
