  • Deutsche Börse: 266 Billion Euros In Turnover On The German Stock Exchanges In March - New Record In Number Of Transactions On Xetra

    The aggregate turnover statistics for March 2003 show that a total volume of 266.8 billion euros was traded on the German stock exchanges without Bremen - some 19 percent more than the month before (February 2003: 223.3 billion euros). The total comprises 187 billion euros in equities, warrants and exchange-traded funds as well as 79.8 billion euros in fixed-income securities.

  • CBOE Exchange-Wide Volume Up 12% In March

    The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced today that exchange-wide volume rose 12% in March, while total index options volume increased 86%. This marked the eleventh consecutive month that index options volume has posted a gain over the year-ago level at CBOE.

  • TSX Will Add Third Match to POSIT™ Canada

    TSX Markets today announced that commencing April 8, 2003, POSIT Canada will add a third match to be run at 9:50 AM Eastern Time. With the additional match, POSIT Canada will run three call market matches per day at 9:50 AM, 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM Eastern Time. During each match Participating Organizations and institutions send their orders directly to POSIT Canada without having to disclose their pre-trade information. Trades are matched at the mid-point of the bid/ask spread.
