CBOT Sets New Exchange Open Interest Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced that on Friday, April 16 the exchange set a new open interest record for the seventh consecutive trading session. Additionally, open interest in CBOT options on 10-year and five-year U.S. Treasury note futures reached new open interest records.

CBOT® mini-sized DowSM futures traded over 100,000 contracts twice in the week of April 12-16, trading 100,168 contracts 4/13 and 102,462 on 4/15. CBOT mini-sized Dow options set open interest records four out of five days, ending on 4/15 with 13,509 contracts.
