Trading Volume of VIX Futures At CBOE Futures Exchange Sets New Single-Day Record

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced today that volume during Friday's trading session set a new single-day record at CFE as a total of 1,194 contracts were traded. Today's volume surpassed the previous high of 583 contracts traded on March 31, 2004. CFE, which launched on March 26, 2004, is a new all-electronic, futures exchange offering futures on the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX).

The Chairman of the Australian Stock Exchange, Mr Maurice Newman, announced today that following the unanimous decision of the ASX Board, Mr Tony D’Aloisio has accepted the position as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ASX.
