Chicago Mercantile Exchange Rescinds Extended June 10 Floor Trading Session For Interest Rate, FX Products; Delayed Release Of Government PPI Eliminates Need For Extended Floor Trading Session

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) today announced that it is dropping plans for an extended Thursday, June 10 open outcry (pit) trading session for interest rate and foreign exchange (FX) products due to the U.S. government’s plans to defer indefinitely the release of the Producer Price Index (PPI) data for May. These open outcry sessions will now end at their usual time of 2:00 p.m. Central time (3:00 p.m. Eastern time).

Listed firms on the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) have released their Q1/2004 earnings reports, in which Master Ad (MACO), Thai Mitsuwa (TMW) and Matching Studio (MATCH) topped the list, with a 186% rise in profits for Master Ad (MACO) and a 204% profit rise for Thai Mitsuwa (TMW). The top3 firms with highest dividend payouts are RK Media (RK), Pico Thailand (PICO) and International Research Corporation (IRCP).
