The Exchange will be issuing an AIF4 message at 15:15 which will allow firms to switch on their Automated Input Facilities from that time. We will therefore come out of a FAST market and will operate under normal market conditions.

London Metal Exchange: Trading Situation - Important Message

Following various incidents in the centre of London, the LME is currently within a police exclusion zone. As a result, the Exchange does not anticipate opening its trading floor today. All trading will be conducted by LME Select, which is unaffected.

Following the incident close to Aldgate this morning and the evacuation of Aldgate House, key staff have now transferred to the LCH.Clearnet backup site. Clearing services are functioning as normal.
