Today, the EPA, in a press conference, announced that it was providing a limited waiver to 46 states, including New York and New Jersey, regarding volatility requirements in unleaded gasoline effective immediately through September 15, 2005. As soon as the specifics of the announcement are provided, they will be forwarded.

(NYBOT®) has declared all delivery notices issued for the port of New Orleans with respect to the September 2005 contract to be null and void effective Thursday, September 1st.

Kansas City Board Of Trade Announces Expansion Of Electronic Trading Hours

The Kansas City Board of Trade will be expanding the time for electronic trading of its futures and options contracts by one hour effective Sunday night, October 9. Effectively, trading will start one hour earlier than the current schedule in all electronically traded contracts.

James Clarkson Named Acting District Administrator Of The SEC's Fort Worth District Office

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox today announced the appointment of James A. Clarkson as Acting District Administrator of the SEC's Fort Worth District Office.
