Shanghai Stock Exchange Launches Work Related To Listing Of New Products Of STAR 50 ETF Options

On May 12, 2023, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced the launch of work related to the listing of STAR 50 ETF options on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). The SSE will earnestly prepare for the listing of the STAR 50 ETF options under the guidance of the CSRC. Promoting the listing of STAR 50 ETF options is an important measure for the SSE to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the task to "improve the financial support system for innovation" proposed in the Outline of the "14th Five-Year Plan", support the high-standard reform and opening up of Pudong New Area, and boost the innovation-driven development strategy, which is expected to enhance the capacity of STAR Market companies in sci-tech innovation and facilitate the construction of the STAR Market.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2305, IH2305, IC2305, IO2305(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in May 2023), IM2305,MO2305(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in May 2023),and HO2305(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in May 2023) is May 19, 2023.

CFTC Charges Commodity Pool Operator Tyche Asset Management LLC And Its Controlling Principal In A $6 Million Commodity Pool Ponzi Scheme - Charges Include Fraud, Co-Mingling Commodity Pool Funds, And Lying To The National Futures Association

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission today announced it filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against Chicago-based Tyche Asset Management, LLC, a registered commodity pool operator, Phillip Galles, its principal and registered associated person, as well as eight other Tyche entities Galles controlled. The complaint charges Galles and the Tyche entities with defrauding more than 50 people throughout the U.S. in a Ponzi-like scheme that received more than $6 million between approximately October 2019 and the present.
