NYSE Composite Index Sets New Closing High

The New York Stock Exchange Composite Index® (NYA) closed at a new high of 7676.64.  The previous closing high for the NYSE was 7663.82 on Sept. 9, 2005.

NYSE - Thanksgiving Day

NYSE will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 24. The Exchange’s auction trading session on Friday, November 25, 2005, will close at 1:00 p.m. Crossing Session I order entry will begin at 1:15 p.m. with order executions at 1:30, and Crossing Sessions II, III and IV orders will be accepted beginning at 1:00 p.m. for continuous executions until 1:30 p.m. .
