Securities with a total value of 204.5 billion francs were traded on SWX and virt-x during the month of April, a decline of 11.6 % in comparison to the record set in March. However, there were only 18 trading days in the month of April. Brazilian stocks closed Tuesday 2 at record high for the 20th time this year. The benchmark Ibovespa stock index ended the session up 1.62% at 41,016 points, highest close since April 26, when it reached 40,410 points. The value traded in the session amounted to R$ 3 billion.
