The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 2 June 2006 (Friday), Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corporation Limited (Stock Code: 2626) will be admitted to the list of designated securities eligible for short selling.

Deutsche Börse recently signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ with the China Foreign Exchange Trade System & National Interbank Funding Center (CFETS) to enhance cooperation between both parties concerning financial market development in China. Under the MOU, Deutsche Börse Group and CFETS have agreed to provide a framework to develop cooperation between both parties and for Deutsche Börse to contribute to the development of sophisticated interbank and foreign exchange markets in China.

Trade on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange Inc. ("WCE") on May 31, 2006 escalated to an all-time high with a total daily volume of 50,520 futures and options contracts. The previous total daily volume record was set on March 31, 2006 when 44,503 futures and options contracts were traded.

CME Reports May 2006 Volume Averaged A Record 5.4 Million Contracts Per Day, Up 34 Percent From Year-Ago Period

CME, the world's largest and most diverse financial exchange, today announced May volume averaged a record 5.4 million contracts per day, up 34 percent from May 2005. Total monthly volume in May 2006 was 119 million contracts. Average daily volume on the CME Globex(R) electronic trading platform increased 35 percent from May 2005 to a record 4.0 million contracts per day, representing 74 percent of total exchange volume.
