  • Clearstream Services To Set Up E-Commerce Infrastructure For Luxtrust In Luxembourg

    Clearstream Services has been selected by LuxTrust, Luxembourg’s electronic certification services agency, to set up the public key infrastructure (PKI) for the whole economic marketplace in Luxembourg, including both the private and the public sectors. This PKI infrastructure will provide certification, registration and authentication capabilities for electronic messaging, including the creation of an electronic signature.

  • Chicago Stock Exchange Announces Closing Of Strategic Transaction

    The Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc. and its parent company CHX Holdings, Inc. (together, "CHX") announced today that the necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals have been obtained in connection with the investment by Bank of America Corporation; Bear Stearns; E*TRADE FINANCIAL Corporation; and Goldman, Sachs & Co. In the transactions, the CHX received investments totaling $20 million in exchange for minority equity stakes in CHX Holdings.
