Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announced today the results of the semi-annual review of the First North 25™ Index, (Nasdaq Stockholm: FN25), which will become effective at market open on Monday, July 01, 2024.

Selective Disclosure Of Information Regarding Cybersecurity Incidents, Erik Gerding, Director, SEC Division Of Corporation Finance, June 20, 2024

Last year, the Commission adopted rules requiring public companies to disclose material cybersecurity incidents under Item 1.05 of Form 8-K.  Since then, staff in the Division of Corporation Finance have heard assertions that those rules may preclude a company from sharing additional information about a material cybersecurity incident with others, including their commercial counterparties.  Apparently, some companies are under the impression that if they experience a material cybersecurity incident, the Commission’s new rules prohibit them from discussing that incident beyond what was included in the Item 1.05 Form 8-K disclosing the incident.  That is not the case.

US Treasury Releases Report On Macroeconomic And Foreign Exchange Policies Of Major Trading Partners Of The United States

The U.S. Department of the Treasury delivered its semiannual Report to Congress on Macroeconomic and Foreign Exchange Policies of Major Trading Partners of the United States.  In this Report, Treasury reviewed and assessed the policies of major U.S. trading partners, comprising about 78 percent of U.S. foreign trade in goods and services, during the four quarters through December 2023.
