  • Oslo Axess Expected To Open In May 2007

    Oslo Børs has decided that its new authorised marketplace for shares and primary capital certificates will be known as Oslo Axess. The new marketplace is expected to open in May 2007. This will be accompanied by certain changes to the normal stock exchange market.

  • SWX Swiss Exchange Clears Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd. Of Possible Rules Violations

    The SWX Swiss Exchange has cleared Kuoni Reisen Holding AG (Kuoni), Zurich of a possible violation of Art. 72 of its Listing Rules and of its Directive on Ad-hoc Publicity. The Executive Committee of the SWX Admission Board has concluded that Kuoni cannot be accused of any sanctionable behaviour in connection with its communication of 16 February 2006, when it informed the public that the overindebtedness of the Ferienverein might have a substantial impact on Kuoni’s own 2005 annual results.<

  • MICEX And Deutsche Börse AG Sign Memorandum Of Understanding

    Yesterday, the MICEX and Deutsche Börse AG have signed a memorandum of mutual understanding. The main goal of cooperation between the two exchanges is the development of the infrastructure of the Russian and the German? financial markets on the basis of advanced exchange technologies as well as the attraction of additional investments in national companies. The parties believe that this will contribute to the development and strengthening of economic cooperation between Russia and Germany.

  • Tokyo Stock Exchange: Schedule For Transfer Of Handling Of Foreign Stocks, Etc., To The Japan Securities Depository Center

    As announced in TSE news on March 15 2006, TSE has made a partial revision to such regulations as listing standards for stocks with the commencement of handling of foreign stocks, etc., by the Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC). The revised regulations are applied sequentially to issues that are to be handled by JASDEC.

  • NYBOT Announces Amendments To Its FCOJ And NFC Daily Trading Limit Rules And Licensing Rules

    The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today amendments to its Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (FCOJ) and Not From Concentrate (NFC) daily trading limit rules and also licensing rules: Pending CFTC approval, effective with the start of trading on January 2, 2007, the Exchange is implementing amendments to its FCOJ Rules and NFC Rules.
