Euronext Appoints Independent Expert

In accordance with the new regulation of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers effective as of 28th September 2006 and applying to public offers, Euronext N.V. ("Euronext") has appointed Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin to act as independent expert with respect to the proposed merger of Euronext with the New York Stock Exchange Group Inc ("NYSE").
