International Assets Expands Asset Management Business Through DIFC Presence

International Assets Holding Corporation (IAHC; NASDAQ: ‘IAAC’) today announced that its asset management subsidiary, INTL Capital Limited, has been granted a license by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to operate as an authorised firm from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). INTL Capital manages the INTL Trade Finance Fund Ltd, which primarily invests in global trade finance-related assets.

The International Securities Exchange (NYSE:ISE) today announced that it has filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York seeking to end the exclusive listing of certain index options. CBOT Full-Sized Gold Futures Surpass 50,000 In Open Interest - Exchange Also Sets Records For Total Metals Complex Open Interest, Mini-Sized Gold Futures Open Interest

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) announced today that open interest in its Full-Sized Gold (100 oz.) futures contract reached a new high mark yesterday, surpassing 50,000 contracts for the first time. The new open interest record, 50,956 contracts, topped the previous record of 48,914 contracts set on October 30, 2006. Additionally on Wednesday, CBOT Full-sized Gold futures reached the second highest volume total on record, as 66,866 contracts were traded.
