Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) has tripled its electronic trading system’s capacity to accommodate, through SIBE, higher market activity expected in the future as well as the increasing number of transactions on the market. In 2006 SIBE recorded over 200 million transactions.

Oslo Børs Holding ASA - 4th Quarter 2006

Oslo Børs Holding ASA recorded post-tax profit of NOK 61.8 (39.6) million for the fourth quarter of 2006. Revenues totalled NOK 132.6 (104.5) million in the fourth quarter. As in previous quarters, the fourth quarter was characterised by high activity, and Oslo Børs experienced record levels in all areas in 2006. The Board of Directors intends to propose to the general meeting that a dividend of NOK 30 per share should be distributed.

With effect from January 29, Kloeckner+Co will be included in the MDAX® index as part of an unscheduled amendment to its composition, replacing Hypovereinsbank. Hypovereinsbank’s free float has fallen to below five percent; its shares therefore no longer meet the requirements for MDAX inclusion.

Meeting Of The Board Of Oslo Børs On 24 January 2007

At its meeting on 24 January 2007, the Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in Copeinca and Oceanteam Power & Umbilical to listing on Oslo Børs. At the same meeting, the Board imposed a violation charge of NOK 110,000 on Ignis for breaching the duty to disclose information. The board also decided to refer the request by Seadrill Limited to delay the implementation of ruling 6/2006 of the Stock Exchange Appeals Committee in respect of the duty to make a mandatory offer for Eastern Drill
