Euronext Bondholders Agree To Insert Call Option In Outstanding 2009 Bonds

On 19 March 2007, Euronext N.V. held a meeting of the holders of its £ 250 million 5.125% Notes due 2009. At the meeting, the proposed Extraordinary Resolution to insert a call option at gilt flat allowing for potential early redemption of the Notes was passed. Euronext will have until 30 June 2007 to exercise the call, should it wish to do so.

(NYSE, Nasdaq: CME) today announced that it will hold a meeting with the shareholders of CBOT Holdings Inc. and members of the Chicago Board of Trade in order to reiterate the advantages of the CME/CBOT merger and provide its views on the unsolicited proposal made by IntercontinentalExchange ("ICE") to CBOT shareholders last week.

UK’s Financial Services Authority Fines Analyst For Market Misconduct

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has today fined Roberto Casoni, a former equities analyst, £52,500 for failing to observe proper standards of market conduct while carrying out his role as an Approved Person. This was in breach of Principle 3 of the FSA's Statement of Principles for Approved Persons.

Frankfurt Stock Exchange Council Resolves New Criteria For The Allocation Of Order Books - Precautionary Guidelines From Administrative Court Implemented - Performance Criterion Retained

The Exchange Council of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange resolved new criteria for the allocation of order books on Tuesday. The new procedure implements the guidelines set out by the ruling of Frankfurt Administrative Court, and makes use of the scope provided by the Court to take lead brokers’ performance into account.

Four partners have agreed to provide a framework to internationalize the German and Chinese financial markets.Tianjin Property Rights Exchange (TPRE), State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, the German Agency for Technical Co-operation (GTZ) and Deutsche Börse Group signed a four-party Co-operation Term Sheet (CTS) on Tuesday in Tianjin.
