Deutsche Börse has further expanded its XTF segment for exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) on the pan-European Xetra trading platform. Five further exchange-traded funds issued by Lyxor Asset Management, a subsidiary of Société Générale, have been tradable in XTF since Wednesday.

Deutsche Börse: First Physically Backed ETCs On Silver, Platinum And Palladium Tradable On The Frankfurt Stock Exchange - Five New Exchange-Traded Commodities Provide Opportunity For Innovative Investment In Precious Metals

Deutsche Börse has further expanded its offering of exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) on the pan-European Xetra trading platform. The first physically backed ETCs on silver, platinum and palladium have been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Wednesday. Furthermore, the ETC product offering has been expanded to include physically backed ETCs on gold and a basket of precious metals. The issuer of the new ETCs is ETF Securities.

Clearstream's Vestima+ Signs New Italian Customer

Credem (Credito Emiliano) has signed up with Clearstream to implement Vestima+ the innovative new investment service for electronic routing of investment funds. Credem has 750,000 customers and is composed by 500 branches and business centers with 5,000 employees. Its structure involves 19 companies operating in all areas of finance.

TSX Group Inc. yesterday announced that Doug McGregor has resigned as a Director, effective immediately. Mr. McGregor is Co-President and Managing Director, Head of Global Investment Banking and Equity Markets, at RBC Capital Markets. CBOE To List Options On 11 Commodity-based ETFs On Wednesday, May 9

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced it will list options on the above 11 Commodity-based Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) beginning Wednesday, May 9. In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on May 9, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.
