Montréal Exchange Second Quarter 2007 Results

Montréal Exchange Inc. (TSX: MXX) will issue its press release for the second quarter 2007 results on Wednesday July 25, 2007, after the market closes. Luc Bertrand, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Montréal Exchange (MX), and Louise Laflamme, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, will hold a teleconference for financial analysts to review its second quarter results on Thursday, July 26 at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern).

Agricultural Commodities: Open Interest Sets Historic Record At BM&F

BM&F’s agricultural markets registered record open interest on June 26th: 103,680 contracts in comparison to 100,830 on June 25th. Live Cattle and Ethanol futures contracts also set an open interest historic mark. With an open interest of 42,657 registered on June 26th, Live Cattle futures surpassed the 41,390 mark registered on the day before. Ethanol futures registered an open interest of 757 on June 25th, totaled an open interest of 833 on June 26th – also a record.
