Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 17, 2007: Musicrypt Inc. (TSXVN:MCT) will trade under the new name Yangaroo Inc. The company will change its ticker symbol to YOO. The company will trade under the new CUSIP number 984747 10 5. There is no consolidation of capital.

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces the following index changes: The shareholders of IPSCO Inc. (TSX: IPS) have accepted the $US 160.00 per share cash offer from SSAB - Svenskt Stal AB (Stockholm: SSAB.A). IPSCO Inc. will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Equity, Capped Equity and Equity 60, the S&P/TSX 60 and 60 Capped and the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Indices. CBOE Announces 2007 Second Quarter Financial Results

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that its unaudited pre-tax profit for the three-month period ending June 30, 2007 was $32.2 million, compared to pre-tax profit of $23.7 million during the same period a year ago. Net income for the second quarter was $18.7 million, compared to $14.2 million during the second quarter in 2006. Bursa Malaysia Registers 145% Growth In 2007 Half Year Net Profit, Declares 156% Increase In Interim Gross Dividend

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) today announced a net profit of RM135.2 million for the half year ended 30 June 2007, a 145% increase compared to the net profit of RM55.2 million for the corresponding period last year. The strong half year performance has also surpassed the annual net profit for 2006 which was at RM108.9 million. ICMA Figures For First Half 2007 Bond Market Issuance

The International Capital Market Association (ICMA) today released figures on new international bond market issues for the first half of 2007, showing that the total value of new issuance in this period was over US$ 1,814 billion. This figure shows a 13% increase in the value of new issuance compared with the figure for the first half of 2006.
