CME Group Appoints Chris LaRosa As Director, Association Relations

CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse derivatives exchange, today announced that is has hired Chris LaRosa as Director, Association Relations. LaRosa will be responsible for the implementation of CME Group's global association strategy and ensuring that the company's relationships with professional and industry associations are aligned with its corporate initiatives in order to deliver customer value. He will report to Chris Mead, Director, Product Marketing.

NASDAQ OMX Announces Listing Of Seagate Technology - Company Switches To NASDAQ Stock Market From NYSE

The NASDAQ OMX Group (NASDAQ OMX: NDAQ) today announced the listing of Seagate Technology which will begin trading on the exchange on September 16, 2008 under the ticker symbol NASDAQ:STX. Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Finansinspektionen, can conclude that in general there are no legal obstacles to conducting Islamic banking operations in Sweden. However, in accordance with FI’s normal procedures, each application for authorisation to conduct banking operations will be reviewed individually along with the products and services that the bank intends to offer.
