CBOE Experiences Busiest Trading Week In Its History - Volume Was More Than 23.3 Million Contracts - Tuesday Was Busiest Single Day Ever With 6.7 Million Contracts - VIX Options Also Set Weekly Record
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that this was the busiest trading week in its history, and Tuesday was the busiest single day on record.

Quarterly Rebalancing For The S&P Japan 500, S&P/TOPIX 150, S&P Japan MidCap 100, S&P Japan SmallCap 250 And S&P Global 100 Indices
Standard & Poor’s as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will update the shares outstanding for the S&P Japan 500 constitutuents effective after the close of trading Friday, March 9, 2007. New shares outstanding can be downloaded in Excel format using the link below. Companies that are constituents of the S&P Global 100 are denoted by an asterisk. There will be no constituent additions or deletions.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index
Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, March 2, 2007: Solium Capital Inc. (TSXVN:SUM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol.

BOX Reaches $110M In Savings To Investors, Sees Near-Record Volume Day
In the month of February, price improvement versus the prevailing NBBO for contracts submitted via the Boston Options Exchange’s (“BOX”) price improvement auction (‘PIP’*) averaged $3.05 per contract. An average of 65,914 contracts per day received price improvement during the month. This represented savings to investors of $4 million. With this amount, BOX has reached $110 million in savings to investors since inception.

March Half Yearly Review Of S&P/MIB Index Constituents
Following the September half yearly review, Standard & Poor’s will not make any changes to the S&P/MIB Index constituents effective at the start of trading on Monday 19 March 2007. The introduction of a 15% capping will proceed as previously stated, the new adjusted IWFs and shares will be announced on Tuesday, 13 March 2007.

NASD Foundation Announces Targeted Investor Protection Grant Program - Solicits Proposals For Research, Education Programs That Protect Investors From Fraud
The NASD Investor Education Foundation launched a new grant program this week, formally inviting non-profit groups and researchers to apply for funding for projects designed to protect investors from fraud. Grant proposals must be submitted by June 11.

Key Figures SWX Swiss Exchange And virt-x: February 2007
In February 2007, cumulative turnover on SWX and virt-x amounted to CHF 210.00 billion, a 19.3 % gain compared to January 2007. The increase was mainly attributable to higher share trading volume, including fund units. This represents the most active month since May 2006 and corresponds to a 14.0 % increase over the comparable prior-year month.
