The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), announces that with effect from 5 August 2009 (Wednesday), 49 additional securities will be eligible for short selling and 16 existing designated securities will be removed from the list.
