BMV Bolsa Mexicana de Valores S.A.B closed it’s first year as a public listed company with a year on year revenue growth of 22.1% and 59.4% in Operations Income for the financial year 2008. The Mexican Exchange group further set a solid income growth target of 30% for the 2009 financial year.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced that a federal district court has ordered Anthony Ramunno, Jr. formerly of Alpharetta, Georgia, to pay a $5.8 million civil monetary penalty for operating an illegal commodity pool Ponzi scheme in which over 90 public investors lost over $21 million.
