Global ETF and ETP Industry 2009: At the end of February 2009 the Global ETF industry had 1,603 ETFs with 2,720 listings, assets of $593.49 billion, from 85 providers on 42 exchanges around the world. YTD assets have fallen by 26.9% which is greater than the 18.4% fall in the MSCI World index in USD terms.
