ITRS Group plc, the leading provider of management and monitoring solutions to the world’s financial community, has announced a set of outstanding preliminary results for 2008. Turnover of the privately held company has continued to increase achieving a year-on-year growth of 65%. The EBDTA (Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) are equally impressive, showing an increase of 95% year-on-year.

The trading volume to the end of March totalled €184.61 bn. The number of shares traded in March was 9.72 bn, up 26.3% from February. The Derivatives Market traded 10.5 million contracts in March, up 33% from the same month last year. The Options Industry Council Announces March Volume Grows 23 Percent

The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that 346,037,577 total options contracts were traded in March, which represents a 22.7 percent increase over March 2008 volume of 282,000,233 contracts.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Ping An Insurance Futures

Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 3 April 2009, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contract will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company's normal procedures and standard margining methodology.

Deutsche Börse has expanded its offering in the area of DAXplus strategy indices with two new ShortDAX indices and a new LevDAX index. LevDAX and ShortDAX give investors the option of leveraged investment in the DAX index when prices rise or fall. In addition to the LevDAX and ShortDAX Deutsche Börse is also introducing further, more highly leveraged variations.
