ICE Futures U.S.(R), a wholly-owned subsidiary of IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), announced changes to electronic trading hours for certain agricultural futures and options contracts. Effective with the start of trading on Monday, December 1, 2008, the trading day for the following products will end at 2:45 pm ET: Cocoa, Coffee "C" and Robusta Coffee, Cotton No. 2, FCOJ, Sugar No. 11(R), Sugar No. 14(R), Sugar No. 16(R), RJ-CRB Index, and CCI Index.

SEC Charges Banker And Brokerage Executives With Multi-Million Dollar Financial Fraud - Trader At Bank Of Montreal Colluded With Brokerage Firm To Overvalue Bank's Portfolio By Hundreds Of Millions Of Dollars

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged four individuals for engaging in a fraudulent scheme to overvalue the commodity derivatives trading portfolio at Bank of Montreal (BMO), and thereby inflate BMO's publicly reported financial results. The defendants include a former senior derivatives trader at BMO and the top two senior executive officers of Optionable, Inc., a publicly traded commodities brokerage firm.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today its filing of a five-count complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, charging David P. Lee, a former trader for the Bank of Montreal (BMO), with mis-marking and mis-valuing the bank’s natural gas options book and deceiving the bank. The complaint also charges Optionable, Inc., and its former senior executives Kevin Cassidy and Edward O’Connor, with deceiving BMO.
