New Appointments In SEB Research And SEB Enskilda Research - New Global Head Of Enskilda Research, New Enskilda Chief Strategist And New Global Head Of Trading Strategy

SEB Enskilda Equities has appointed Fredrik Carlsson as new Global Head of Equity Research. Fredrik comes from a position heading SEB’s Stockholm Equity Research desk and is now assuming global responsibility of SEB Enskilda’s research teams. Henrik Mitelman has been appointed Chief Strategist at Enskilda Equities, and member of the Enskilda Equities Management Group. Henrik has worked as an analyst within SEB since 2000 and has for the past three years been Global Head of the research unit

NASDAQ Dubai Equities Trading Volumes Reach Highest Level Since 2007

Equities trading volumes on NASDAQ Dubai rose to 1.09 billion in the first quarter of 2010, their highest quarterly level since 2007, before the start of the global economic crisis. The 2010 first quarter figure was 40 per cent higher than the fourth quarter of 2009 total of 776 million. It was also 5 per cent up on the first quarter of 2009 level of 1.04 billion.
