Trading On Proquote More Than Doubles In May - Number Of Trades In May Up 116% - Total Value Traded Grows By 239% - Proquote Wins Award For “Best Information Display” Third Year Running

Proquote announced today that year-on-year trading on Proquote more than doubled in May. During the month, 396,319 trades were executed via the Proquote RSP gateway, an increase of 116% on May 2009, with a total value traded of £3.0 billion, a year on year increase of 239 %. The number of trade reports submitted by brokers to the London Stock Exchange via Proquote’s Vendor Access Network (VAN) has also significantly increased compared with 2009.

Vienna Stock Exchange Launches Two New Fundamental Indices

Starting today, the Vienna Stock Exchange will calculate two new fundamental indices: The CECE Fundamental and the CEETX Fundamental, which contain companies included in the CECE Index and in the CEESEG Traded Index (CEETX), respectively. The index weighting is determined by the following indicators: Total capital yields, gross dividend yield and price-to-book value ratio.
