UK’s Financial Services Authority Publishes Feedback Statement On Remuneration
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has today published the summarised feedback it received on whether to extend its code on remuneration policies to other FSA-authorised firms. The FSA’s remuneration code comes into force for large banks, building societies and broker dealers on 1 January 2010. It will apply to any remuneration awards made by these firms for the 2009 performance year.

Euroclear Bank And Shanghai Clearing House Sign Co-Operation Agreement

Knight Capital Group And ISE Announce Knight's Purchase Of Competitive Market Maker Trading Rights On ISE
Knight Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: NITE) and the International Securities Exchange (ISE) are pleased to announce that Knight Equity Markets, L.P. will become a Competitive Market Maker (CMM) on ISE's options exchange, effective in the first quarter 2010. Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) today announced the launch of an investment literacy survey. ADX has issued a questionnaire to assess the investment knowledge and understanding of UAE-based active and early-stage investors. The questionnaire results will be used to create an investor literacy index, and provide a demographic analysis and results on which improved market awareness campaigns and investor education programs can be constructed.

NYSE Euronext Announces Trading Volumes For November 2009 - European Interest Rate Products ADV Increases 31.2% Versus Prior Year - U.S. Options ADV Increases 50.6%, Market Share Increases To 24.7%
NYSE Euronext (NYX) today announced trading volumes for its global derivatives and cash equities exchanges for November 2009[1]. Trading volumes in November 2009 were mixed, with European derivatives products trading volumes increasing 16.4% and U.S. options trading volumes increasing 50.6% versus prior year. NASDAQ Dubai Monthly Trading Report: November 2009
Trading volumes of Dubai Gold Securities (DGS) rose to a monthly record of 40,668 on NASDAQ Dubai in November, more than three times the previous high of 12,844 recorded in May. A total of 80,881 DGS have traded since the securities listed in March 2009.
