ELX Futures Sends Letter To CFTC Saying CME Statement On EFFs Misleading

NASDAQ Announces Mid-Month Open Short Interest Positions In NASDAQ Stocks As Of Settlement Date January 15, 2010
At the end of the settlement date of January 15, 2010, short interest in 2,411 NASDAQ Global Market(SM) securities totaled 6,350,313,020 shares compared with 6,197,177,687 shares in 2,423 Global Market issues reported for the prior settlement date of December 31, 2009. The mid-January short interest represents 4.05 days average daily NASDAQ Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 3.32 days for the prior reporting period.
