After-Hours Trading On FORTS Hits A New Record

On April 28, 2010 a new trading record was set on FORTS, derivatives market of RTS, during the evening trading session – RUB34.755 billion or USD1.182 billion in value. It is the highest value since the launch of the evening trading session on FORTS. The previous record was seen on April 27, 2010, when evening trading on FORTS exceeded RUB29.809 billion or USD1.029 billion.

FIA Issues DMA Risk Recommendations

The FIA has issued a report that recommends a number of principles for managing the risks in direct access to exchanges. This type of arrangement has become increasingly common among derivatives exchanges in many parts of the world. CME Group Inc. Reports Solid First-Quarter 2010 Financial Results

CME Group Inc. (Nasdaq: CME) today reported that first-quarter total revenues increased 7 percent to $693 million and operating income increased 7 percent to $415 million from the year-ago period. First-quarter 2010 operating margin was 60 percent, in line with first-quarter 2009. Operating margin is defined as operating income as a percentage of total revenues.
