Key figures SIX Swiss Exchange And Scoach Switzerland March 2010
Cumulative turnover on SIX Swiss Exchange and Scoach Switzerland in March 2010 amounted to CHF 111.9 billion, practically unchanged from the previous month. The number of transactions executed during March edged up by 0.2% versus February to reach a total of 2,933,798. Turnover in the Structured Products and Warrants segment demonstrated a very strong trend: it rose in March to CHF 3.5 billion, a 10.1% increase over the previous month. Record Month Of Steel Futures Trading In March At The London Metal Exchange
Trading in steel futures on the London Metal Exchange (LME) achieved record levels in March, with 10,662 lots traded, representing 693,030 tonnes (notional value = $346m). TSE Group And TOCOM Establish An Emissions Trading Exchange Preparatory Company
Tokyo Stock Exchange Group, Inc. (TSE Group) and Tokyo Commodity Exchange, Inc. (TOCOM) announced today that they created a joint-company in order to prepare for the establishment of an emissions trading exchange based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both parties on October 29, 2009.

The Options Industry Council Announces March Options Trading Volume Increased 1%
The Options Industry Council (OIC) announced today that total options trading volume in March came in at 351,004,878 options contracts, representing a 1.44 percent increase compared to March 2009 volume when 346,037,577 contracts changed hands.

Eurex: Average Daily Volume Of 10 Million Contracts At Eurex And ISE In March
In March 2010, the international derivatives exchanges of Eurex Group recorded an average daily volume of 10 million contracts (March 2009: 12.2 million) – a decline of 17 percent. Of those, 7.1 million were Eurex contracts and 2.96 million contracts were traded at the U.S.-based International Securities Exchange (ISE). In total, 163.7 million contracts were traded at Eurex (March2009: 172.3) and 68.1 million at the ISE (March 2009: 96.7).

Deutsche Börse: Xetra Turnover Up 10 Percent In March - 15 Million Trades Executed On Xetra - Total Volume Of 125 Billion Euros Traded On All Stock Exchanges In Germany
In March, 110.2 billion euros were traded on Xetra and on the floor at Börse Frankfurt – an increase of 9 percent year-on-year (March 2009: 100.9 billion euros). Of the 110.2 billion euros, 103.3 billion euros were traded on Xetra, an increase of 10 percent year-on-year (March 2009: 93.8 billion euros). 6.9 billion euros were traded on the floor, a decrease of 3 percent (March 2009: 7.1 billion euros).
