IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of regulated global exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, today reported financial results for the third quarter of 2011. Consolidated revenues increased 19% from the third quarter of 2010 to a record $341 million. Consolidated net income attributable to ICE grew 38% to a record $133 million. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) increased 40% to $1.80.

CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced October volume averaged 12.4 million contracts per day, up 9 percent from October 2010. Total volume for October was 261 million contracts, of which 85 percent was traded electronically.
