VC Investment In India Startups Nosedived By Over 50% To $6.3 Billion During January-October 2023, Reveals GlobalData

A total of 920 venture capital (VC) funding deals were announced in India during January-October 2023, a decline of 38.6% compared to the 1,499 VC deals announced during January-October 2022. The corresponding VC funding value plummeted by a massive 67.1% from $19.2 billion during January-October 2022 to $6.3 billion during January-October 2023, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) recently held their 15th regular high-level meeting on enforcement cooperation and a three-day joint training event at Chengdu. This was the first in-person meeting between the current enforcement heads of the SFC and the CSRC and the first in-person joint training between the two enforcement units since the COVID pandemic.

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) obtained the conformity certificate for the International Standard for Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) from the TÜV AUSTRIA Group, after the audit process and examination of documents conducted by the accredited body in Jordan, TÜV AUSTRIA/JORDAN. The ASE fulfilled all the requirements and standards of the international certificate after the completion of the audit process, document review, and verification of the ASE's implementation of the Quality Management System conditions according to international standards.
