PGE Joins As A New Market Maker At EEX

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) welcomes Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. (PGE) as a new Market Maker on the Spot Market for EU allowances (EUA). PGE, which recently joined as a trading participant on EEX, will quote on the EUA Secondary Spot Market as a Market Maker.

On December 1, 2013, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) opened its official Micro blog accounts on People.com, Xinhua.com, Sina.com and qq.com respectively. Its official WeChat account also opened to the public. Meanwhile, SZSE amended its official logo after initiating a new brand identification system.

Dalian Commodity Exchange: Fiberboard, Blockboard Futures Contracts To Be Listed On December 6

On November 29, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) released the “Notice on Relevant Matters over Trading of Fiberboard and Blockboard Futures Contracts” and decided that the fiberboard and blockboard futures contracts will be listed for trading since December 6 (Friday), 2013. The listing of the “two boards” will add the number of Chinese futures products to 40 and will fill in the product gap, making domestic agricultural futures products expand to the brand new field of forestry.

S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:

The shareholders of Petrominerales Ltd. (TSX:PMG) have approved a Plan of Arrangement with Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (TSX:PRE). Petrominerales shareholders will receive $CDN11.00 cash and 1 share of Alvopetro Energy Ltd. (TSXVN:ALV) for each share held.

The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE®) today reported  November 2013 trading volume for total exchange-wide activity and for futures on the CBOE Volatility Index® (VIX® Index). Additionally, the second phase of the expansion of extended trading hours for VIX futures successfully launched during the month and futures on the CBOE Russell 2000® Volatility Index were listed.
