Tokyo Stock Exchange ETF/ETN Monthly Report For March 2014

• The ETF/ETN market remained vibrant in March 2014, with a daily average trading value of about JPY 119.2 billion and monthly trading value reaching about JPY 2.38 trillion.
• Leveraged ETFs continued to be a driving force in the market, with NEXT FUNDS Nikkei 225 Leveraged Index Exchange Traded Fund (1570) sustaining its more than 60% share of ETF/ETN market trading value.
• NEXT FUNDS Russia RTS Linked Exchange Traded Fund (1324) also saw considerable gains in trading.

Non Jordanian Investment At The Amman Stock Exchange During March 2014

The total value of shares that were bought by Non-Jordanian investors since the beginnig of the year until the end of March 2014 was JD 112.7 million, representing 14.8% of the overall trading value, while the value of shares sold by them amounted to JD129.3 million. As a result, the net of non-Jordanian investment showed a decrease of JD16.5 million, compared to an increase of JD 52.3 million for the same period of 2013.

BATS 1000 Index Gains 0.7% This Week

BATS Global Markets, a leading operator of securities markets in the U.S. and  Europe, reports the BATS 1000® Index (Ticker: BATSK) rose 136.97 points this week to close at 21,063.22 as of the 4 p.m. ET market close today. Industrials and Manufacturing gained 1.5% leading nine of the ten sectors that comprise the Index higher for the week. Technology and Communications fell 0.5% and was the only sector to decline.

BOVESPA Segment

In March the equities market’s (BOVESPA segment) financial volume totaled BRL 125.23 billion against BRL 131.54 billion in February. The daily average was BRL 6.59 billion against BRL 6.57 billion in the previous month. The total number of trades in March was 18,503,854 against 17,943,360 in February. Daily average number of trades was 973,887 against 897,168 in February.

Nigerian Stock Exchange Weekly Report For The Week Ended 04 April 2014

A turnover of 1.937 billion shares worth N21.264 billion in 21,641 deals were traded this week by investors on the floor of The Exchange in contrast to a total of 1.870 billion shares valued at N26.811billion that exchanged hands last week in 21,632 deals.
