Dalian Commodity Exchange: Notice On Publishing And Implementing The Relevant Contracts And Detailed Rules For Implementation For The Night Trading

To meet the market demand and further promote the adaptation of China's futures market to the international market, DCE plans to carry out the business of night trading, having accordingly revised the trading hours of the futures contracts as well as the “Detailed Rules of Dalian Commodity Exchange for Trading”, the “Detailed Rules of Dalian Commodity Exchange for Settlement”, the “Detailed Rules of Dalian Commodity Exchange for Delivery”, the “Measures of Dalian Commodity Exchange for Risk Management” and other detailed rules for implementation. In specific, the revision to the trading hours of the contracts of futures products has been approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and the amendments to the detailed rules for implementation have been discussed and passed by the Council and reported to the CSRC. The amendments to the contracts of the futures products and the detailed rules for implementation are hereby issued and shall come into effect as of the official launching day of the night trading. -

OCC: Regulatory Review To Identify Outdated, Unnecessary, Or Unduly Burdensome Regulations

Summary
The Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (EGRPRA) requires the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (collectively, agencies) to review their regulations every 10 years to identify outdated, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome regulations applicable to insured depository institutions. To facilitate this review, the agencies divided their regulations into 12 subject-matter categories and identified the regulations in each category. Over the next two years, the agencies will publish four Federal Register notices, each addressing one or more categories, and ask members of the public to identify the regulations in each category that they believe are outdated, unnecessary, or unduly burdensome for insured depository institutions.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s Division of Swap Dealer and Intermediary Oversight recently issued an extension of two previously issued time-limited, no-action relief actions (CFTC letters 14-02 and 14-45) to the Futures Industry Association, its member Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), and similarly situated FCMs.
