Trading Technologies Appoints Robbie McDonnell EVP Global Sales

Trading Technologies International, Inc. (TT), a provider of high-performance professional trading software, today announced the appointment of Robbie McDonnell to EVP Global Sales from VP/Managing Director of Asia/Pacific. McDonnell will relocate from Sydney to TT’s headquarters in Chicago, where he will report directly to CEO Rick Lane and be responsible for leading TT’s worldwide sales operation.

UK's Financial Conduct Authority Imposes Recruitment Ban On The Financial Group For Failing To Control Its Appointed Representatives

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has used its suspension power for the first time, banning two of the Financial Group’s (the Group) subsidiaries, Financial Limited and Investments Limited, from recruiting new Appointed Representatives (ARs) and individual advisers for a period of four and a half months.

PEGAS: Half-Year Volumes More Than Double Year-On-Year

In the first half of 2014, a total volume of 248.4 TWh was traded on PEGAS, the natural gas platform commonly established by the European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Powernext. This represents more than double the volume traded in the same period last year (2013: 102.1 TWh). Furthermore, this volume is higher than the total volume reached in 2013 (222.6 TWh).
