“Swift Transfer” Of Securities Between Dubai Financial Market And Kuwait Stock Exchange - 175 Million Kuwaiti Shares Transferred To DFM As Of End Of May 2013
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) agreed on new arrangements with the Kuwait Clearing Company to promptly transfer securities between the DFM and Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE). DFM has started to implement these arrangements enabling shareholders of Kuwaiti companies to easily transfer their shares to and from DFM.

BATS 1000 Index Falls 2.2% This Week
BATS Global Markets, a leading operator of securities markets in the U.S. and Europe, reports the BATS 1000® Index (Ticker: BATSK) fell 407.78 points, or 2.2%, this week to close at 17,847.88 as of the 4 p.m. ET market close today. The decline marked the third drop in four weeks for the Index.

CFTC’s Division Of Clearing And Risk Issues Extension Of Time-Limited No-Action Relief From Required Clearing For Swaps Entered Into By Certain Cooperatives
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) Division of Clearing and Risk (DCR) today announced the issuance of a time-limited, no-action letter granting relief from required clearing under section 2(h)(1)(A) of the Commodity Exchange Act and part 50 of the Commission’s regulations for certain swaps entered into by qualifying cooperatives.

U.S. Delegation Participates In Financial Action Task Force Plenary - Treasury Department Leads Interagency Delegation To Push For Continued Improvements In Global Anti-Money Laundering And Countering The Financing Of Terrorism Standards
An interagency delegation from the United States participated in the 25th Plenary of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in Oslo, Norway to advance global efforts to increase financial transparency and combat illicit finance. The U.S. delegation, led by the Treasury Department's Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes, Jennifer Fowler, worked with other FATF members on preparations for the next round of mutual evaluations to assess compliance with the FATF anti-money laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) standards. These standards are increasingly important as the global community works to protect the international financial system from abuse by illicit actors such as terrorists, proliferators of weapons of mass destruction, and transnational criminal organizations.

Nigerian Stock Exchange Weekly Report For The Week Ended June 21, 2013
A turnover of 1.631 billion shares worth of N21.680 billion in 30,952 deals were traded this week by investors on the floor of The Exchange in contrast to a total of 3.725 billion shares valued at N75.874 billion that exchanged hands last week in 39,060 deals. The Financial Services sector (measured by volume) led the activity chart with a turnover of 1.103 billion shares valued at N10.552 billion traded in 16,479 deals. The Financial Services sector represented 67.67%, 48.67% and53.24% of the total traded volume, value and deals respectively.
