Thai Bourse Promotes Investment In Q3 Via SET-TFEX Investopolis In Money Expo 2014
The Stock Exchange of Thailand’s (SET) has been committed to providing investment expertise to investors in order to expand quality investor base. At the upcoming grand event, Money Expo 2014, during May 8-11, SET will set up SET-TFEX Investopolis area, covering 1,000 square meters to showcase all investment opportunities, facilitating investment decision-making in the third quarter.

French Central Bank Selects Giesecke & Devrient As Technology Partner For Banknote Processing - Authenticating, Counting, And Sorting Up To 120,000 Banknotes Per Hour: Banque De France Modernizes Its Cash Centers With G&D’s BPS M7 Banknote Processing System
The French central bank, Banque de France, is modernizing its cash centers and boosting their level of automation. Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) won the tendering procedure for updating the bank’s processing systems over all competitors and was appointed main supplier of Banque de France’s banknote processing solutions.

ASIC: Virgin Money Pays AUD30,600 Penalty For Misleading Advertising
Virgin Money (Australia) Pty Limited has paid $30,600 in penalties after ASIC issued three infringement notices for misleading online and television advertising. Each infringement notice imposed a penalty of $10,200.

SWIFT Launches Compliance Analytics Service To Help Banks Manage Financial Crime Risk - Using SWIFT Traffic Data, Compliance Analytics Will Help Banks Visualise Their Global Transaction Flows And Identify Unexpected Patterns Or Activities
SWIFT announces the launch of Compliance Analytics, a new business intelligence tool in its compliance services suite that will help banks monitor and address financial crime risk. Through Compliance Analytics, banks will be able to analyse their own SWIFT traffic data to identify anomalies in behaviour, unusual patterns or trends in traffic flows, hidden relationships, and significant levels of activity in high-risk areas.

HKFE Announces Revised Margins For Futures Contracts
Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited (HKFE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), has announced that with effect from the commencement of trading on Friday, 2 May 2014, the minimum margins to be collected by an Exchange Participant from its clients in respect of their dealings in the following futures contracts will be as outlined in the table below. The adjustments are based on the clearing company’s normal procedures and standard margining methodology.
