U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC or Commission) Chairman Timothy Massad announced today that Eric J. Pan will be the agency’s new Director of the Office of International Affairs. Mr. Pan will join the CFTC from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he serves as the Associate Director for Regulatory Policy in its Office of International Affairs.

CFTC Issues Order Of Temporary Registration As A Swap Execution Facility To LedgerX LLC

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) announced today that it has approved the application of LedgerX LLC (LedgerX) for temporary registration as a swap execution facility. LedgerX is a limited liability company based in Delaware; and it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NYBX Inc., a corporation also based in Delaware.

Federal Reserve System Appoints Payments Security Strategy Leader

The Federal Reserve System on Thursday announced the appointment of Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Senior Vice President Todd Aadland as its Payments Security Strategy Leader. In this role, Aadland will lead the System's activities to address fraud risk and advance the safety, security and resiliency of the payment system. His responsibilities will include chairing the Secure Payments Task Force, comprised of more than 170 payments stakeholders.
