JPX To Lead Global Initiative With WFE On Financial Education And Literacy - 30 Organizations To Participate In New Study Group

Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) will lead a new global initiative on financial education and entrepreneur programs for students. The new 30-member Financial Education and Literacy Study Group, formed with the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), will allow JPX to extend the reach of its CSR efforts and share its expertise and experience of financial education for young people while continuing to offer a wide range of programs in Japan.

Shanghai Stock Exchange And Shenzhen Stock Exchange Increase Margin Ratio For Securities Margin Trading

In order to further strengthen the risk management for securities margin trading and promote its long-term stable development, as approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission (“CSRC”), Shanghai Stock Exchange (“SSE”) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) recently amended the Implementation Rules for Securities Margin Trading (“Implementation Rules”), and increased the lowest margin ratio for securities margin trading from 50 percents to 100 percents. The adjustment will be implemented from 23 November, 2015.

Japan Exchange Group And Taiwan Futures Exchange Initiate Product Cooperation By Listing TOPIX Futures In Taiwan

Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX) and Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) today announce their cooperation plan to introduce TOPIX futures based on the leading stock index of JPX to Taiwan investors. The TOPIX futures denominated in New Taiwan Dollar (TWD) is scheduled to launch on TAIFEX in December, 2015, which would be a key milestone to both exchanges.
